Denton Drive Improvement

Dallas County, with respect to construction of two DART stations on Denton Drive, has been putting money and efforts to transform the current narrow, dangerous street to walkable, pedestrian friendly street. The City of Dallas and Dallas County consider to
bring TOD (Transit Oriented Development) around DART stations to encourage more pedestrian traffic.

Below is the summary of the project:

  • Project Limit: From Web Chapel connection to north City limit
  • Project Budget: $36 Million (Dallas County 50% contribution)
  • Expect to start construction in 2010 – 2011
  • County matches GDAACC vision toward Asian Trade District
