Program/Activity/Sponsor/Underwriter
This option provides the corporate investor recognition in a Chamber activity or event commensurate
with the level of underwriting. The top investor will be listed as a sponsor of the event with other
investors listed as underwriters. The opportunities for investment include:
- The Annual Asian Ethnic Chamber and Asian Community Group Mixer, tha t provides an
opportunity for Chamber members and corporate and public service partners to network with Asian
American business and community leaders.
- The Annual Job Fair which links employers with highly educated and skilled Asian American job
applicants. This job fair brings corporate America, government and non-profit organizations together
with qualified Asian American job applicants. It is the only one of its kind targeting the Asian
American community in the Dallas Metroplex.
- The Leadership Tomorrow Program that provides training to emerging Asian American leaders in
order to develop their leadership skills and to enable them to participate in the betterment of the
community of the Dallas Metroplex.
- The Holiday Mixer is a festive event that allows members to come together to celebrate the season,
the year’s successes, and future growth.
- 3 quarterly membership mixers which provide opportunities for members to network with other
successful business people. Event sponsors are given the opportunity to make presentations or
conduct workshops at these mixers.
- The monthly Small Business Seminar Series which provides emerging Asian American businesses
including women-owned businesses, training and technical assistance to enable their businesses to
grow by focusing on the 3 M’s of entrepreneurship including, management, marketing, and money.
Sponsors and/or underwriters may make presentations at one or more of these workshops.
PUBLIC SERVICE PARTNERS
Public service partners such as the City of Dallas, the Dallas County Community College District
(DCCCD), Dallas Independent School District (DISD), Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and DFW
International Airport, have the opportunity to conduct outreach, marketing, and procurement
workshops; have exhibit tables and seated tables at the 3 special events, and exhibit at the Asian
Festival, have a "Partners in Service" listing at all events, in the Chamber’s e-newsletter and on the
Chamber’s website. Each public service partner is entitled to 5 individual memberships with full
membership benefits.
GDAACC also works with other cities in the metroplex such as Addison, Irving, Arlington,
Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Richardson, Plano, Garland and Mesquite who are seeking quality goods
and services, and support supplier diversity. |
