GDAACC Accomplishments

Since its beginning in 1986, our Chamber’s membership has grown with the support and encouragement of leading businesses, corporations and individuals.

In the year 2000, the Chamber established the Multi-Ethnic Education and Economic Development (MEED) Center in “Little Asia” of near East Dallas. The MEED center focuses on job training, entrepreneur development theory and business assistance for the growing population in the area.

In the year 2001, the Chamber introduced the Intermediary Lending Program to meet the needs of small businesses in the Asian community in the Metroplex. The Program was designed to help GDAACC’s members with their short-term cash flow needs and relatively near-term capital requirements.

Each year brings new challenges and opportunities for growth and development for our members. This makes our original and primary purpose of promoting and developing Asian American businesses more important than ever, within the Metroplex, our nation and the world. Our mission does not stop here…

Our Chamber has grown to over 1,200 members with a staff of six to serve the needs of the Asian American Community.
