Minority Business Development Mission
It is the mission of the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce (GDAACC) to provide business opportunities for its members. Minority Business Development is a program of GDAACC specifically developed to achieve this mission.
This program is designed to provide business opportunities and allow participation of minority and women-owned enterprises. The approach is to expose them to the bidding and procurement process in the area of product and professional services with the City of Dallas, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Dallas Independent School District (DISD), Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) and the DFW International Airport, as well as other government institutions and private enterprises.
In an effort to ensure that members have the maximum opportunity to participate in the bidding and procurement process, GDAACC is committed to provide business opportunities, and allow participation of minority and women-owned enterprises and assist them in the area of product and professional services with the City of Dallas, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Dallas Independent School District (DISD), Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD), DFW International Airport, and other government and private enterprise.
Programs and Services
GDAACC’s Minority Business Development Program provides the following:
- Information on Round Table sessions, Pre-bid conferences, Trade Shows/Fairs.
- How-to seminars and trainings (How-to-do business with, certification, construction).
- Assistance in registering your business for bidding and procurement requirements.
- Supplemental assistance in financing your business.
