The Dallas Business Journal is proud to introduce its first annual Minority Business Leader Awards program.

In this category, we're looking for innovative Minority Business Owners of fast-growing or successful companies, with annual revenue of $1 million or more. The business must be at least 51% ethnic-minority owned, been in business at least one year and based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Top candidates will also play a strong leadership role outside their jobs and in their communities. We're looking for key, influential people who are making a difference.  Please fill in the form below to nominate a minority business owner.

The Dallas Business Journal's Minority Business Leader Awards will also recognize outstanding Minority Corporate Executives, people of color with high levels of responsibility at their companies — such as vice presidents, CFOs, partners or people in charge of a business unit. The Dallas Business Journal's Minority Business Leader Awards will also honor Minority Corporate Advocates:  an executive of any ethnicity at a large company who is highly effective at supporting minority business owners.  Please click here to nominate a corporate advocate.

For 2008, the Dallas Business Journal will honor 10 minority business owners, 10 minority corporate executives and five corporate advocates. The honorees will be profiled in a special publication that publishes June 20 — and celebrated at an awards luncheon on June 19.
